生産は日本が世界に誇る国産ペダルメーカー``三ヶ島製作所``さん。
BLUE LUG×CHOUCHIN CYCLE×MKSのトリプルネーム。
一年とちょっと前の事。
SUNTOUR XC COMPE PL-5700のような少しスリムでシールドベアリングタイプを模索。
真っ先に思い浮かんだのが「MKS BM-7 NEXT」
ボディはアルミ研磨仕上げで7色のカラー展開でした。
勿論そのままでも最高なのですが、側板が外せるタイプだったのでSYLVAN NEXTのブラックボディが使えると思い
組み合わせたのが、この度販売したBM-7 NEXTの原型です。
それから、嬉しい事にBLUE LUGさんにお声掛けいただき生産の話がスタートしました。
BM-7と言えば長年愛され続けているシリーズで、
NEXTは2019年6月に販売、年内のみの半年間期間限定生産された70th ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION
今回BM-7では今までにないブラックカラーのボディを使っています。
スリムなボディに食いつきの良い側板。
昔からBMXやMTB向けに絶大な人気を得ているのは納得。
笑みがこぼれる程の回転の良さ。
トリプルシールドベアリングは上位に位置されるSYLVANシリーズNEXTグレードのペダルで採用されている機構。
このBM-7は最高に今の気分。
よーく見ないとですが、少しだけ側板がカーブしています。
足をのせたら「離さないよ」と言わんばかりに最高のフィット感。
街乗りから山遊びなど、色んなジャンルのバイクに使って頂けたら嬉しいです。
